Faqs

How do I use Downy Infusions in the wash?
Simply add Downy Infusions to your fabric softener drawer. For top-loaders, you can also add directly to your washer drum during the rinse cycle, or use the Downy Ball if you don't feel like waiting around for the rinse to begin. Go to OLV/LINK for more information!

What is Downy Infusions?
Downy Infusions are Downy's premium collection, infusing fabrics with luxe fragrances that you don’t just breathe in—you experience. Like fine fragrance for your fabrics! Infusions provides all the softness, fabric protection and static reduction benefits you love from Downy liquid fabric conditioners.

I love Downy Infusions! What other products should I try?
We’re so glad! You might enjoy Fresh Protect In-Wash Odor Shield: use with detergent and Downy Infusions liquid fabric conditioner for 24-hour odor neutralization—like deodorant for your clothes!

Do I need to use detergent with Downy Infusions?

Yes, for best results, use WITH detergent. Downy Infusions is a fabric conditioner that will provide your clothing with luxe scent (like fine fragrance for your fabrics), softness, static reduction and protection from the laundry damage of stretching, fading and fuzz.

How is Downy Infusions different from Unstopables?
Downy Infusions is a fabric conditioner with premium, luxe scents; Unstopables are long-lasting scent boosters, not conditioners. Fabric conditioners provide scent, softness, static reduction and protection from the laundry damage of stretching, fading and fuzz.

What's the difference between a fabric conditioner and a dryer sheet?
Both provide fabrics with scent, softness and fight static; however, dryer sheets are heat activated in the dryer, whereas liquid fabric softeners are more easily infused in the wash. Additionally, fabric conditioners reduce wrinkles, provide for easy ironing and protect from stretching, fading and fuzz that occur in both the wash & dry processes.

this product was a defect.

This product was clumpy and not in the liquid form. I contacted the company by email and no response from them. Never had a fabric softener that came out in clumps.

I love the scent of this.!!!!!

I love this scent but I can't find it anywhere expect online which is frustrating. I really want to have it in the fabric scent booster you throw into the washer and also dryer sheets. Is Downy going to come out with those??? It would be so great if all my products had this scent. PLEASE MAKE CITRUS SPICE DRYER SHEETS AND FABRIC SCENT BOOSTERS.

I do recommend this product

I can still smell the old scent in my washer

I loved, loved, loved the old scent! I bought the new one thinking only the packaging had changed. I stockpiled and bought a couple large jugs. The first day I wore a shirt that had been washed in it was the worst. I thought I had hugged someone and gotten their horrible perfume on me. It took me a while to realize it was the fabric softner! I hate the new smell and it gives me a headache. Please change it back...everyone is begging!
