How Does Downy Unstopables Work?

Downy Unstopables In-Wash Scent Booster beads infuse your fabrics with perfume micro-capsules. When these capsules are touched throughout the day, they pop to release the wonderful, premium Unstopables scents you love.

Yes. Use beads WITH laundry detergent. Downy Unstopables In-Wash Scent Booster beads are for adding long-lasting freshness to your clothes and fabrics, not for cleaning.

If I Use In-Wash Scent Booster Beads, Do I Need Liquid Fabric Softener?

For best results—yes! Liquid Fabric Softener conditions fibers, keeping your clothes soft and fresh, and In-Wash Scent Booster beads are designed to add even more of the long-lasting freshness you love to your fabrics.

If I use In-Wash Scent Booster Beads, Do I Need to Use Dryer Sheets?

Of course! Both In-Wash Scent Booster beads and Dryer Sheets infuse your clothes with a great, premium scent, but the beads have our touch-activated technology, while Dryer Sheets fight static cling, provide softness and ease wrinkles. It’s best to use both with every load of wash, resulting in wonderfully long-lasting scents and incredible softness.

The fragrance and smell it leaves on clothes

It gives me for about 8 washes, so it lasts a long time, I like to put it on my clothes when it is washed, the smell that remains when my clothes come out is the most fragrant

Great scent booster

Downy Unstoppables in-wash scent boosters are absolutely amazing. I love adding some beads to my laundry. They completely dissolve in the wash. They make my clothes smell fresh. The scent stays on my clothes for several days. I have received so many compliments how fresh my towels smell from my guests when I use this in-wash scent booster. I will definitely continue using them.
