Read the care label for hand wash instructions

First, read the care label for any specific hand-washing details.

Step 2

Submerge fabrics in soapy water. Gently stir until fabrics are clean.

Step 4

Use cool water for rinsing clothes

Dissolve 1 tablespoon of Downy Fabric Conditioner (or enough to cover the bottom of the cap) in 1 cup of water.

Step 6

Add the Downy liquid fabric conditioner to the rinse water for enhanced fragrance

Move fabrics to the side of the tub and pour the fabric conditioner solution directly into the rinse water.

Step 7
